converting additional libraries
« on: September 25, 2009, 02:35:59 pm »

I'm now happy using MC14

On first use I was able to conver a previous MC13 library to MC14

I do have other libraries in MC13 that I would also like to convert rather than re-create. Is there a way to do this ?

Thanks,

Stephen

MC can restore an MC13 backup.

But back up MC14 first.

Create a new empty library (load it) and restore a backup file of one of your additonal libraries.

Repeat the above until you have all libraries in MC14.

Alternatively you can simply point a new library to one of your additional library locations and MC will start using those library files. MC14 will convert the library format so the library will not work with MC13 anymore. If you want to preserve the old library you can first copy the library folder to a new location.
