I don't read it the way you reading it.

The Microsoft® Windows® Rights Management (RM) client is required for your computer to run applications that provide functionality based on Windows RM technologies.

What programs support "The Microsoft® Windows® Rights Management (RM)"

Does MJ8 Or MC9?

The system component is used by the software to allow you to access content that has been protected by the rights-enabled permission features of the software.

Would Not The Media Files Also Need To Have A Bit Of EnCoding In Them To Support "The Microsoft® Windows® Rights Management (RM)"?

it seems to me that if a company or programer wishes to make a Jukebox that Microsoft has created a way for that company or programer to use the SDK\Kit to protect copyrighted music

This patch will allow RM aware applications [i.e. Windows Media Player] to work with Windows Rights Management Services.

as it reads the App must be "RM aware"

so what app's are "RM aware"

Doesn't MJ/MC already comply (for lack of a better word) with DRM for Windows Media formats anyway? If you have a copy protected WMA file and don't have the license, MJ/MC won't play it...right?
