Fantastic.  I've had this thing since Christmas and its never worked properly.  It appears to be now - I haven't tried all my media but the WD is now recognizing my library and view schemes!
Thanks Jim!

Any idea why I am getting this endless loop of Audio, Image, Video?
Try deleting and re-adding the server as Jim said. After restarting MC, power cycle the WD (sometimes they get lost in space with stale connections). Also, have you modified the root views at all? If so you may need to customize the views in the options section of the UPnP server.

I've had some success using "send to" for video with the new version of wdtvlive firmware and the latest mc14 release.  I can pick a movie (tried m4v and mkv) and the movie starts playing correctly.  I tried functions like skipping forward, starting another movie, or adding one to the wdtvlive zone and ran into trouble.  MC shutdown.  Has anyone else tried the control point feature of MC14 with the wdtvlive new firmware?  What functions should I expect to work?

Well I literally just got mine playing correctly so I am happy.. for today  :)
I will try the control features when I get back home tonight.  That would be nice to have because then I could use my PDA and NetRemote to control MC to control my WDTV.  If that works I'd probably buy another WD (or two)
I'll let you know how I make out.
