Problems Purchasing MP3 Encoder
« on: January 18, 2010, 03:50:56 pm »

I am trying to purchase the MP3 Encoder for Media Jukebox 12. When syncing my player I get the pop up box on which I press purchase but  it doesnt do anything. I have tried resrarting but same issue. Any thoughts? Is there anywhere else I can purchase from?

It could be a problem on your PC with a pop up blocker or firewall.

In IE, can you get to this page?

Thanks for the quick response! I am using Chrome and that page works fine.
I will try fiddling with firewall settings and see if that helps.

Try IE to see if it gets there too.

Don't have IE, only Chrome and Firefox, tried disabling all firewalls and switching default browser to FF but still no joy, going to see if a reinstall of Jukebox helps.

Don't have IE
That may be the problem.  You could purchase a license on another PC that does have IE, then use the Install Key on the first PC.  Details are under the Purchase link above.  It's the same process as MC14.

Need to remember how to reactivate IE on my machine ;D
When you refer to the purchase link do you mean the restore one you gave me? Is there somewhere I can go to purchase the licence for the encoder rather than through the way that doesn't seem to be working? I can only find the option to purchase the licence to use the full Media Jukebox, I am presuming I can purchase just the encoder, I have seen a price of $10 quoted elsewhere on the forum just for the encoder when I was looking for help.

Why do we have to purchase this encoder? I thought jukebox was free?
