illegal function

I downloaded(save to disk) and exe.ed the mj7 program and repeatedly got the message this program has performed an illegal function...  Finally gave up.  When I got the message that a new version was available I gave it a try, same story, Illegal function.  I'm using win98 with 128mbram and 350mghz processor.  Other jukeboxes worked fine and no other limitations have been noticed.  Any ideas?  thanks

I've got a 350MHz Pentium II myself and had no problems running MJ using 128 MB and winME, win2k or winXP. I think my roommate also had no problems using it on a win98 (could be win98SE) as well...

In my experience it may be just that windows (at least 9x systems) piles up garbage over the years and eventually produces errors out of the blue. Have you tried cleaning up the registry? While you're at it, you may want to use a registry compressor as well. Should improve system performance in general.
