I tried a lot but can't find a way to display the most recent albums by Artist. If I filter on recently added by artist then i only get the recently added artist. Thus missing an recently added album by an already known artist. So, I want to have a list of newly added album view them by artist name.
Does anybody have a solution?

Are you looking for the most recent albums according to the 'Date' field or the 'Date Imported' field?

If you're looking for music that's new to you (i.e. 'Date Imported') this change coming in build 68 should make it easy:

Changed: When viewing a file grouping, the 'Date Imported' will show the most recent import date of any file in the group instead of the average import date.

Just make a view and add the category 'Artist' (or 'Artist Album (auto)') and pick 'Date Imported' as the sorting on the category dialog.

Thanks, I think build 68 will solve the 'problem'
