Anyone noticed clicking noise while playing certain music(soft) with visualizations on?

I did, once...  But it turned out to be my wife loading the shotgun in an effort to persuade me away from the PC.

Other than that, I haven't noticed anything like that.  Does it only happen with the vis's on?

What version of MJ?  We made a change in (about) build 302 that supresses the "start navigation" sound IE makes.

Sounds like an IRQ sharing issue to me.  Newer drivers or some BIOS settings may help.  Dig around for a FAQ on your motherboard...

Take care.

It is clicking noise or nonlinear distortions depending on current visualization.I can hear it best on Basia's "New day for you" from the album "Time and Tide" I use wave out, have Santa Cruz sound card,Athlon XP1800|PLS|,256MB DDR RAM and using MJ 8.0.309.
