Only first file gets cover art
« on: July 02, 2010, 06:34:18 pm »

While tagging new imported files, in "Play Lists" > Recently Imported, and importing Cover art from Internet or from scanner, it works fine, all the files in the album is to bee tagged with picture.

But  importing of Cover Arts to files imported earlier, it does not work so well.
In modus "Audio" > Files, and importing cover art from Scanner, Internet or file, only the first file in the album is to be tagged with picture, even if all files are marked blue.

In search without grouping it wil not be showed any picture at all.

All this things worked wery well in MC 12.

Now I downloaded upgrade to 15.0.70 but the problem is still the same.
Only in "Playlist > Recently imported" mode the all files in a album gets cover art.

In all other modes only the first file is being tagged with cover art.

I have not seen that happening to me.

It is not clear what you mean by "mode". Are you saying that the "Image (small thumbnail)" column shows the thumbnail in the Recently Imported playlist, but when the same track is viewed elsewhere the "Image (small thumbnail)" column shows only the "blue note" icon?

Is only the thumbnail missing or does also the full resolution image not show up in the main display when the file is playing and the display is set to show cover art?

Add the Image File column to a list view and check what values (if any) the tracks that are missing cover art have. The image File value should be "Inside File" when the file has embedded cover art or it shows the name and path of an externally linked cover art file. If the cover art file is in the same folder with the media file then only the plain filename without a path is stored. If the value is empty then no cover art is available to MC. Report what you find.
