As my user name suggests, my interests are audio.

I have tons of  files in loads of folders that are .m4a.

Unfortunately, even though I have been able to configure MC 15 several times to work properly with .m4a files, I continue to get crashes and various error messeages, and have to reinstall, reconfigure, etc to get things to run, and then get another set of instability issues.

I am not married to the .m4a format, realize the files can be converted, but doing so manually even for each folder is an over whelming task.

Is there any program that will search out and convert the lot of them? or am I limited to doing each folder manually?

Disc space is not an issue.

I like MC 15, think it sounds great - it really does sound good - but I am nearing the end of the trial period ( or past it) without a workable solution to the stability issues with .m4a files.

Did you try the Wiki article on "M4P and M4A"?

I reread them, and think I have it correct at this point.
