MJ8 shutdown & standby issues
« on: June 22, 2002, 07:37:03 am »

Using MJ8, I have two problems when shutting down or going to standby or hibernate under WinXP.

1. When MJ minimized to the system tray, XP does not successfully shutdown. The process begins, the playback is stopped, but XP remains up. Reproduced on several machines.

2. When returning from standby or hibernate modes, MJ visualizations do not work if DirextX draw method is selected in the visualization studio. They do work when if standard draw method is used, but I much prefer DirectDraw (speed, overhead, etc.)

DillWeed,

Have you tried upgrading to the latest version to see if the problems are still there?

IIRC the standby issue has ben fixed.
