HD Channels not found

Look's like MC15 could be the one-stop solution for all my Media needs.  I'm playing my FLACs, watching .iso Blu-Rays, but am having trouble displaying my Clear QAM HD Channels.  I'm running Windows 7 64bit on an AMD910e, ASUS Motherboard, with a Hauppauge HVR-2250.  I have 'Basic' digital Cable here in San Diego, CA and have selected the appropriate Cox Digital Cable configuration in the TV setup.  I've been able to view the HD Channels using WMC, WinTV, and BeyondTV (which I've subsequently uninstalled, except for WMC) but they are not showing up on MC15. 

Please advise on where to start.

Sorry, QAM channels are not supported.

Currently only analog cable and OTA digital (including ATSC and DVB-T) television channels are supported.

How does this apply to a system with a Hauppauge HDPVR connected to a HD cable box via Component Video. Many of the cable box stations are digital, especially the HD ones.
