usb composite video
« on: October 07, 2010, 02:25:17 am »

I tried every trick under the sun. I messed about with every MPEG2 codec in existence. Tried every setting there is to set. Whilst other capture software works flawlessly MC15 is a real mess.

Sometimes it just works, but only once. If you stop and restart capture the image is at 1 frame per second.
Sometimes it works but the image freezes solid after a while. MC15 works normally.
Mostly it just does whatever comes to its mind, from atrocious banded image to no image. The most common is that the image resembles a badly tuned black/white tv and the sound is just a garbled hiss.

It's not my hardware. (Hauppauge USB live2) Every time i try immediately after MC15 fails with other capture software the image and sound are impeccable.

There is some serious issue with video capture.  :'(
