Importing music for the first time - no album art?

hi,

I am just getting Started with MC V15. I have imported my music files from an external hardrive I Tunes folder. Music has imported ok but there are no or very few album covers being displayed. I have tried building thumbnails but still no art. Any suggestions on how i can easily import my album art without having to re-build it all manually?

Where was itunes keeping your album art?  If it wasn't with the files can you change it and then re-import?

the art is stored in a sub folder under I tunes at the same level as Music but not in the same folder?

I have exactly the same problem. It seems that no one has the answer which is a little disappointing. Is it back to iTunes? ?
