when playing music with directsound output (default device) the sound skips around and sounds distorted while using "restart Firefox" when installing addons or having to kill it in task manager.

quick fix:

stopping playback and switching to the disk writer or wave out, resuming playback, making sure it sounds clear again, then stopping playback again, then put device back to directsound (default) device.

sometimes MJ needs to be re-opened.

I have confirmed this to MJ only WMP and RP do not exibit this behaviour with FF4.

This happens 1/3 attempts.

I don't think that's an MJ bug.  Why not just use Wave Out?
