Playing/balancing left and right channels
« on: April 09, 2011, 01:17:39 pm »

I'm new to this programme and I think its great. However, can anyone tell me how to balance left and right channels. The equaliser doesn't give me that opportunity. Thanks

See Room Correction in Player->DPS Studio instead.

"Room Correction" is one option. If you don't use a playback mode that bypasses the Windows mixer and you want to set a permanent adjustment you can also set it in the Windows mixer/speaker volume settings.

If you want to adjust the balance setting to occasionally fix some audio recordings you may want to use a VST plugin.
For example, the Kjærhus Audio Classic EQ VST plugin: http://www.brothersoft.com/classic-eq-133869.html

It is free and it would also provide separate EQs for the left and right channel.

You can add VST plugins in DSP Studio.
