Does Media Center Go On Sale?

I have been testing Media Center for about a week now. This is the best audio program I have yet to find. Does it ever go on sale? Memorial Day is almost here...

I'd be interested in knowing if it is ever discounted. I'll likely buy it in any case....

Not typically.  Usually there is an upgrade discount (often substantial if you are an early adopter) given for a short time when brand new major versions come out (very roughly once a year).  For new purchases, the price is pretty much the price.

That said... I couldn't be more pleased that I took the plunge many years ago and bought my first full copy of MC (well, Media Jukebox back then).

One very nice thing about their licensing system is that if you own a few different machines (maybe a laptop, desktop, and HTPC), you only need one "copy" and you're allowed to use it on the machines you own, within reason.

For the first-time buyer, I have *never* seen it gone on sale... It is worth every cent in my experience.

Just bought it. I'm just using it for music right now. Much better than itunes or Media Monkey. Works flawlessly with my E-Mu 0404 USB (ASIO).

Looking forward to figuring out all the features.....

Let me know when you've figured out all the features. I've been using MC since version 11, I think I've explored about 1/3 of the features now  ;D
