Gizmo volume in Android phone?
« on: May 30, 2011, 11:23:35 am »

Hi
I have installed Gizmo in my Samsung Galaxy S phone with Android.
I want to use it as remote control only for my music on my computer.
I can not get the volume to work. Any idea whats wrong?
I understand that the volume from the phone (hardware buttom on the side) also will work as remote.
Maybe that is not correct?

Best Regards

The hardware buttons for volume up and down do work with Gizmo on a Galaxy S.

Choose Connect to [server name] and then Play to [server name].  From there, choose Audio on the phone.

Hi Jim
I have done just that. No responce on the volume. The rest works fine. Note the volume.
I have also try the theather view. Same result.
Otherwise the phone works well. No problem with the volume what so ever.
What do you think is the reason?
Has it someting to do with my connection to the D/A converter?
I use Wasapi.

Try setting MC to use "Internal" volume.  Click on the speaker icon in the upper left.

Wow! That did the trick! Thank you VERY much. I was´nt aware of that possibility to change that.
Will this affect on the sound quality or something?
