JimH - You closed the last thread and this is simply a closure.  289 will not run on my laptop as I stated earlier.  I went back to 265 (the last full load I had saved) and applied 275 which will work fine.  I tried 279 and 280 but both failed.  I am having NO PROBLEMS with 289 on my desktop machine.  

I am not interested in starting something, just wanted you to be aware of it.

I love MJ and will do whatever to help with the development.

FWIW I had a Toshiba laptop with a PII 133 MMX...

maybe, due to it being a laptop

at any rate version 6 min requirements was 166mhz (not that it would not work with something a bit slower slower)

with 66mhz i think it would drag.

Huumm, the Celeron was never available at 66 Mhz.. only from 500 Mhz up to 1.7 Ghz. Maybe it is a 667 and one char got chopped or the cpu detection code does something funny.. Either way, I supect this is totally unrelated to the real problem

I certainly think we have gone in the wrong direction on this one.  

There is a problem and I was simply letting you know the situation.  

I am up and running, but not the general release as it will not function.....

It could be our problem.  I just don't know.  We need to know more.

Sorry for the discussion on old processors.  We just find it interesting.  Last week, I read that NASA is looking for 8086 chips to resupply the Space Shuttle.  I'm checking my drawers.
