Click to focus has effect
« on: July 29, 2011, 08:03:59 pm »

Hi,

I like to use MC16 in Mini View and keep it on top of other windows but the problem is, when I click it to take the focus, the click actually changes whatever I click on. For example, if I click on the volume bar, the volume changes to wherever I click it... or if the click occurs on the play position bar, the song starts playing in a different spot.

I suggest an option be programmed into the player where the first click (the one that sets focus on the player) has no effect other than just give the player the focus.

Cheers,
Steve (BM) :o

I just tested a few other programs and they also respond to a click when getting the focus.

Could you just click someplace that isn't a button / slider?  Like the titlebar of Mini View for example?

I spose so. Perhaps the developers could consider incorperating this feature into MC. I'm used to it under WindowMaker and it's a good feature.
