DVB-T Subtitles / Closed Captioning support?
« on: August 08, 2011, 10:21:14 am »

Hi,

based on the prior discussion / post ("Television doesn't work") and my tests / experience, I assume the DVB-T / closed captioning is not supported so far. Right?
Would it be possible to have the feature?
At least for me, it would be really the wanted feature. At the moment, lack of the feature almost prevents using TV feature of the MC, and I have to use WMC for TV. I would like to avoid run 2 media center applications same time.

Thanks for you support!

I'm not sure.  But try the arrow keys on a keyboard or remote to get the OSD choices.  Up and Down to move through features, right and left to select.

I have tried everything I can imagine. No success.
Yaobing stated in the mentioned post / thread as
"We have not tried to support Closed Captioning/teletexting/subtitling in either ATSC or DVB-T.  So I am not sure how much of it, if any, will work."

As my experience, it doesn't work.

So, the question still remains, are we going to have DVB-T Closed Captioning and when?
