How can I get a list of songs which are not in playlists? I can click on each track individually to look at the tag information, but I have too many tracks. Can I make a smartlist where "playlist" would equal "none"? The "edit smartlist" dialogue box does not seem interested in that parameter. Thanks for any advice.

Version 16 adds the ability to add a Playlists column in the file list. This shows a list of all the playlists for a track. Then, you can sort by this field. You can also create a smartlist that uses a Search List, and uses the Playlists field.

I believe you can make a smartlist and select one "group" of playlists. You can see the groups in the Playlists tree, each "folder" being a group.

Good info, MrC. I think I'll get version 16. (I can't figure out smartlists.) I never before noticed the absence of a "playlists" column. Now I want one.
