I'm evaluating MC16. Until today, it played my hi-rez files faithfully; 48, 88.2, and 96K.  But MC crashed while I was trying to tag a file while playing a tune and after that it would not play my hi-rez files at the proper bit rate.  MC correctly reported the bit rate of these files, but my DAC, which indicates playback bit rate, reported that playback was "stuck" at 48K.  I confident that my DAC is functioning correctly, because I was able to play back these same files using Foobar and MusicBee and the DAC showed the correct bit rate.  I tried restarting MC 16 and my computer, but this did not help.

Any ideas about how to correct this?

If it was working and it isn't now, then something has changed.  A driver, a file, settings, etc.  

Powering everything off and back on would be good.  Including anything else that's in use, like a NAS drive, router, etc.

Reinstalling MC would be worth a try.

Double check the DSP Output settings.
