Not sure of if this should work and didn't see any posts that looked like a match.

I have a Library Server running at home.

I load the home Library Server at work with MC. I can play music trough MC on the PC fine and WebPlay also works on the PC via localhost.

I am running a local server from the work PC using the home library as the library. Media Network and DLNA server is turned on.

I have tried to play files on WebPlay on my iPhone and iPad but they will not play. The PC and the devices are on the same wireless network. Plug Player and Media Connect can see the DLNA server and brows files but can not play the files. Media Connect has an error that the URL is invalid and all PP gives is Error 8. I have tried flat and full URLs for the DLNA server but it did not help.

Should this setup work or do I have to connect to the Webplay server and DLNA server IP/port at my home?

Running MC v176 at home and work PC.
