Hey all,

Out of curiosity, is the "Album Artist" field actually stored in the ID3 (v2) tag, or in the MJ database? It's a fantastic feature to be able to break the Album Artist out from the Track Artist, which a lot of other jukeboxes don't support, but as far as I can tell I don't think it's stored in the MP3 itself... this could be a pain if you want to move files from one machien to another.

Actually I'd like to know what data is stored where. Is this documented somewhere? I assume that any data that's in the file tags is also in the DB so you can index - is there any data that is by default, or unconditinoally, only stored in the DB?

If this varies by file type than I'll add that I only use commercial CDs and APE files which I make myself.
