Editing Name of Library Produces an Empty Library??
« on: November 18, 2011, 06:38:00 pm »

Starting with the Default library under Docs and Settings, I imported my music files. I then customized the view to how I wanted it (Panes and Details) and saved that view as "My View" in D:\MC Library. So far so good.

Then I used the Library Manager's Edit function to change the name and path from "Default" in my Docs and Settings folder to "My MP3 Library" in D:\MC Library.

Next, I loaded "My MP3 Library" only to discover that "no files were found", and its view was the original default view (i.e. not Panes and Details) instead of "My View".

So I tried to reload the Default library but the Library Manager no longer listed it in its Media Libraries list box and the list box does not provide a Browse function.

I can always re-import my files but I'm wondering why that editing the name of a library results in an empty library. What did I do wrong?
