Problem burning cds

Just got finished burning some cds with Jukebox...got error messages on half of them. Using Memorex CD-Rs, 40x, 700mb, 80 min. discs.  Any idea why half of the ones I have burned would lock up after 2 or 3 tracks? Tired of wasting blank discs!!!!!!!!!

Memorex CD, in my experience, have been very troublesome, especially the CD/RWs.  Verbatim and Maxell are much, much better.
