error in searching location?
« on: May 06, 2002, 10:23:28 am »

In the CD & DVD scheme, I have many audio cd's listed.  They all show as in location (0x0etc):\track01.cda But when I search for the following:

location=[(0x"
or
type=cda

I get no hits.  (I've also tried searching for volume with the same field with no hits).

Is my search criteria invalid? (I've tried many other combinations to no avail; and cda is associated with MJ).

Lise, the problem is that CD tracks aren't in the main database. (they're in a separate CD database)

So, either import your cda files, or else specify ~d=c when searching to force MJ to search the CD portion of its database. (~d=mc searches the main and cd portions)

Take care.
