Plasma Screen burn-in
« on: June 04, 2012, 09:52:34 am »

I am concerned of IMAGE BURN-IN on my plasma monitor, while using theater view.  My display is often on for the entire day!

1) Is there a way to also fade out the TOP navigation bar, and the music information line in the NOW PLAYING view, similar to fading out the cover art when using the theater view togehter with the ONLINE MEDIA SLIDESHOW

2) Alternatively can one animate the music information and navigation bar as does Windows Media Center?

Thanks

I've asked for this too.

Image retention on modern Plasmas is only temporary, so it isn't really the same thing as burn-in on CRTs of old.  However, it would still be nice to avoid it.  It would be nice if you could set Playing Now in Theater View to just fade out the UI chrome and keep only the image slideshow after a short timeout.

Anything to help with this would be great.
