Hi, I am a new MC user and I must say I am pretty impressed so far.

In trying to configure Theater view I notice that most of the items like Webpage, External program, Hulu etc. can only be added as top level items. No matter what I do I can not get them to nest under Video, etc. Is there a way to work around this? I notice that this config is stored in the file "view tree (theater view).jmd" in the library. Are these JMD files some standard DB format, or MC specific?

Last, seems that version 18.0.12 has "7. Fixed: Configuration in Options > Theater View > Items to Show was not working nicely.". Does this fix this issue? Is the 18.0.32 build stable for daily use and can everyone install it?

Thanks!

You should be able to nest those items under a 'Category'.

In other words, add a 'Category', name it, then add the children.

There are also 'Library Items' but they're different.  They're only designed for browsing the media in your library.

This answers the question with a restatement of the problem, and it's not likely a solution anyone would want. Why can't 'Categories' be nested? That would allow these items to be placed where needed—and they can still share the same ('Category') menu with 'Library Items'.

Thanks! Adding categories solves the issues. I just had to recreate the stock Audio, Video etc. as Categories, move the items around and adjust the filters.
