Album listing not working: iPod Touch and Android devices

I have just noticed that trying to access the "album" lists via JRemote and Gizmo causes these programs to hang or stop working.
Accessing music by "artist" works and I can also still use PlugPlayer and webGizmo...
I have tried re-booting the computer a few times. My library is stored on a Western Digital MyBook NAS and I am using JRiver MC 17.0.182.
The operating system is Win7.
Any help would be great.
