Weather Check II
« on: April 21, 2002, 07:30:09 am »

How's the weather in your part of the world right now? Here in western Minnesota snow is falling. Again. This really bites after several nice days early last week. I was almost ready to dig out the mower. Garden thoughts had even creeped into my head. HAHAHA. WHY CAN"T WINTER JUST BE DONE!!! There, I said it and I meant it. Much better now.

Hi - San Diego, it's a little breezy, blue skies and warm in the sun. Expected to reach the high-60's / low-70's today.

Here in Middle Tennessee, the birds are singing, the flowers and trees are blooming, the grass is growing (I have already mowed once), eggs are hatching and bees are buzzing. The sky is partly cloudy but mostly blue. The high today will be about 80 degrees. What I am doing sitting at this computer is beyond me. So I'm outta here to enjoy life. I'll be back later this evening. I can't stay away.

Here in Enola, PA:
Two weeks ago, we got 2 inches of snow.
This past week it was 90|PLS| F all week (we broke a record high on Tuesday).
Today it's 45 F.

In the words of Lewis Black, "it's not weather, it's malaria!"

NO MORE SNOW IN MN, AHHH!!!
I mean, dang. It is April.
I grew up in Southern California. Lived San Diego (Point Loma and uhg East Dego) and L.A (Alhambra and yuck,Chatsworth), between parents. Liked the nice weather, disliked L.A and the valley.
San Diego is the one place I would like to be! Or London Next Page

Also lived in Tuscon, AZ for 5 years before MN.
Will take dry heat over humidity any day!

Funny peleton. To be a real cyclist around here you need studded snow tires and chains.

2am.....unseasonably warm on the southern tip of Africa (kenton.co.za) at 25C/77F. A perfecetly clear still evening with a piercing full moon making the soft shadow(s) Maggie Riley referred to in that beautiful song.

Autumn (Fall) it's supposed to be....but not yet.

The noise of the computer fan is drowning out the sound of the waves........no music now....everyone asleep except for me on the PC and my daughter whose on the town tonight.

Machinehead,

She just got in......been at the local watering hole with friends....more like a village than a town so it's relatively safe for them....

BTW, my brother works out of Apple Valley...moved over there in '98....so the weather reports from J River country are very interesting to me...

Enjoy the weekend!
