Recently BBC Radio 3 started a 320Kb AAC stream of the radio station. This can be accessed via a web interface but this route the sound via the poorer quality windows 7 sound systems. Also it means i have to open the sound card control panel for volume, minimise JRiver etc etc. SO i have been trying and successfully entering the URL of the stream into the Connected Media option. (File/Open URL....).
My problem is i enter the URL for BBC radio station in the open URL option on the file menu. I paste in the Radio URL Link (
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r3_aaclca.pls) i select to save the URL. Thus i was hoping to have a list of URLs i could simply connect to in Connected media.
Upon initial pasting and enter the URL the stream plays via the JRiver audio engine and sounds very very good as it is at 320Kb AAC on radio 3. However when looking at the filename that appears in my connected media the link is no longer the pasted URL but a different stream address. See Below>

I believe the URL that appears is a playlist, and once the computer is restarted the playlist has not been updated and thus JRiver cannot reconnect.
Any ideas?
