Progress slider
« on: April 12, 2002, 12:21:46 am »

I've downloaded MJ8 build 247 and I've noticed that the slider showing the progress of the current track doesn't move unless the mouse pointer is in the area... is it normal???

The help feature indicates a path: Setting>Control Panel>Display Appearance... I'm unable to locate it... am I blind? please help

Click on Start, then Settings then Control Panel.
In the window that opens, double click on Display, then select the tab at the top that says Appearance. Voila.

This is a known bug.  Should be fixed in a build or two.

I'd just as soon not even have "Progress Slider". It's a bell and whistle effect that serves no really useful purpose that I know of. It probably takes some resources that probably could do more good somewhere else.

sg2,

Too funny...guess you never use the slider to drag and position at a specific time in song (quickly).

I think we should get rid of the MP3 plugin as well. It's only taking up valuable hard drive space. Next Page
