Help in adding files to another drive, please.
« on: March 09, 2003, 09:16:45 am »

I am running MJ 8 on a 1.4 Ghz Athelon cpu (Windows 98)with an 80 G hard drive equally partitioned into C and D.
I have just about filled C with ogg vorbis files. How do I utilize D? My reading of the MJ help files seems to suggest that I create a music file on D (currently completely empty) and add D to the output file location. Before I "screw up", is this the correct way to open up more space so MJ 8 can access all the ogg files equally? Or is there a better and more correct way to open D to MJ 8? Please remember that I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, computerwise.

How do I handle the temporary file location which is now C:\music\temp?

Other than McAfee, Spybot, Internet Explorer, and some other basic programs, MJ is the only major application as I use this computer almost solely as a jukebox.
Thank you.

Rip To Root

D:\music\
D:\music\temp

====================

this way when it moves files from temp it will be much quicker than copying it from drive c:
