Equalizer per zone
« on: February 19, 2013, 06:10:04 am »

HI folks,

I'm a happy user of MC 17 :D my favorite piece of software
I'm currently using it with my windows 7 PC in my chamber with an asus essence STX sound card and it sounds great. i do not need equalization in this room
I would like to use it also to stream music to a Cambridge Stream Magic 6 in my lounge declared as a specific zone. In the lounge i use speakers that needs equalization correction.

Is it possible to have a specific equalization setting for each zone ?

Sorry if already asked and for my poor english

Yes, you can have independent equalization per zone. After you add a new zone, go to the DSP studio and set the EQ using the Parametric Equalizer DSP.

Tested with my wd tv live : DSP studio is indeed defined by zone! thanks
for the WD Tv live i ve got this message "playback stopped or current playback doesn't suppport processing"
Do you think i 'll get the same message with a Cambridge Stream Magic 6 ?
