Just to know it, with MP3Gain...

Just to know it, with MP3Gain is not necessary ReplayGain to have all mp3 at the same volume, and you can disable any kind of peak cut (when we had them); it isn't simple normalization & is reversible without save again the files.
Also, the changes MP3Gain makes are completely lossless. There is no quality lost in the change because the program adjusts the mp3 file directly, without decoding and re-encoding.
Setting it at 93db seems a good compromise between volume & distortion for my different players (Nomad JB,Yeep & of course Media Jukebox).

Listening at 'A Question Of Honour' by Sarah Brightman (A.Lloyd Webber's wife) on Media JB.

This could be good news to those who don't want to test the latest betas of v8 because they can't stand to do without ReplayGain.  If you apply Mp3 Gain to your mp3 files, you won't need to use ReplayGain, and all your mp3 files will have the same apparent loudness in all mp3 players.

Get Mp3 Gain here: http://www.geocities.com/mp3gain/

And if you want the same constant apparent volume on all your audio files, you can apply the ReplayGain effect on .wav files before they are encoded or burned to CD by using WaveGain on them.

Get WaveGain here: http://home.wanadoo.nl/~w.speek/wavegain.htm

I didn't know WaveGain seems fine.
Even if I think that just Mp3Gain should be sufficient because usually I convert and burn in the same action (look at MJB Setting\Cd Writer settings\Decode MP3 files directly to CD).
Than in Mp3Gain is possible apply 'Album Gain' to set volume for a single album relase, really usefull.

Thank
