How can I retain MCE remote functions for WMC/MediaBrowser

I'm using a trial of MC18 and would like to use MC for music and MediaBrowser/WMC for video. When MC18 service is loaded I lose MCE remote functions for WMC. Can I retain all the remote button functions for WMC and only use JRemote on my iPad for music playback within MC18? If so, how?

You could try:
Options > General > Advanced > Media key mode: Disabled

You can also turn off MCE remote support in Options > Remote Control > Devices & Options (at the bottom).
