Yes, if you set up a new Zone with your EQ preferences, and then use ZoneSwitch to only send MP3 and FLAC files to it.

I need to do something similar, but unique to a particular group or category of files.  All the files are FLAC, but vary in quality due to the age of the recording (mostly).  For the older group, some EQ is required as a form of normalization of audio.  I was thinking of ZoneSwitch, but in another thread I believe it was Matt who said that ZoneSwitch should probably not be used on a song to song basis.

Matt or anyone who knows, why would this be?  Is it due to switching time to actually make the zone change or what?

And would there be any other way to accomplish a per song EQ change?
