is there a setting that i can switch so that every time a new song starts playing, media center automatically navigates to it?
To get a better idea of what i am working with, this is what my config looks like.


As you can see, "World So Cold" is playing, but the screen is still in the 'I's" and "J's"
I would like to to have already scrolled down to show the song that is currently playing.
any help with anything even remotely close is greatly appreciated

Also, is there a way that I can get rid of that top section that shows the albums?  I would prefer to just have the song list but I cannot figure out how to remove that last album view pane.

Hi Beathenature,
I believe the "Playing Now" view automatically centers the playing song, you can sort it on names and It'll still do this. You can also slide the display up so that you only see the detailed list, as follows (in your own theme of course):
