Two Monitors and Saving View Changes to Library Server

1. I have two monitors and when I maximize MC on the right monitor, it moves to the left monitor (a 30" display) instead of staying on my 15" laptop screen.
2. Will changes made to views/columns ever be saved back to library server? My views and columns are always out of sync with what I want because I have to go to the server to fix them, which is a big hassle.  I wish I could just fix them as I was using MC as a client.
