Burning problems
« on: March 26, 2002, 12:28:53 am »

After installing Media Jukebox I burned audio CD without any problems. Few minutes later I tried to burn another one but I received a message "Failed to initiate CD writer control" and "Failed to find any CD-R/W devices on your system" and than something about missing / damaged ASPI.
Device is normally mapped in Windows(98) and it works with the other software. Media Jukebox and CDRW driver reinstalled, but no change. Please can anybody help?

Which version of Media Jukebox? You can click on "System info.." on MJ's help menu and then cut and paste the information here.

The "failed to initialize cd writer control" message makes me think there was a problem with installation of MJ. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. If that doesn't work, I would suggest trying the beta version 8. Let us know...

Reinstallation was done already several times but what is interesting that for the first time it worked and than (without switching comp off and on again) it suddenly stopped working. Where can I get Beta Version 8? Thanks.
