Windows library Sync
« on: June 15, 2013, 02:06:58 am »

I would like to update all my play stats between my Mac MC Library to my Windows one. I tried to sync from the Windows library and I can update the play stats, but the plays stats in my Mac library remain unchanged.
If try to sync from the Mac Library to the Windows one, the application on my Mac crashes.
Am I doing something that cannot be done?

Are you using build 195 or greater?

I am using latest build 197 on my Mac and I am running both libraries in server mode. Both reside in the same machine where I run Windows through Parallels.

Are you using the menu option "File -> Library -> Sync Library" ?
If so, what options do you have set on that dialog?

Hi John,
attached are the options I used.

The Mac server crashed with "Merge files" selected or not selected.

Hi John,
I installed the new 201 revision and I was crossing my fingers to have the library sync with Windows working. Unfortunately the Mac version still crashes when trying to sync with the Windows one.
Were you able to duplicate the event I am seeing?

Sorry, this type of syncing hasn't been tested much on Mac (I had thought you were referring to library syncing rather than file syncing).  I'll do some testing on Monday to see what's going on here.
