Confirm I'm not crazy (VideoClock)
« on: June 15, 2013, 10:19:28 am »

I've been playing around with VideoClock lately, and though the Wiki states that it's not available when bitstreaming audio (and I've run up against this before), it now seems to be working with bitstreaming on (according to the MadVR dashboard).  Did I miss the implementation of this feature, is it only appearing to work with bitstreaming on, or am I just nuts?

The MadVR dashboard indications...plus audio is staying in sync.  I've tried it with bitstreaming off before and it works great.  I'm not sure what's going on here...

Upon further examination, turning Bitstreaming on or off appears to have no effect on VideoClock.

I have JRiver do my decoding anyway, so it doesn't matter to me, but I seem to remember the program not letting you select VideoClock if you had bitstreaming enabled in a previous version.  Maybe I'm mis-remembering...

If bitstreaming is used, all audio features are disabled, including VideoClock.  This is one of the reasons JRiver recommends not bitstreaming.

The user interface will let you turn on bitstreaming and VideoClock since you might want VideoClock to be used for files that do not bitstream.
