Misidentifying tracks and splitting albums
« on: June 20, 2013, 10:14:12 pm »

I have just imported my music files into the jukebox and it is doing some peculiar things.

I have a number of Angeligue Kidjo albums but some of the tracks have been identified as Angélique Kidjo with an accent on the "e" and listed as a separate artist. I have checked the tag info and they are listed as Angeligue.  No accent. Other albums are listed under the same artist correctly but the album is split into 3 different albums all with the same name.  One track is "Let Me Be" by Xavier Rudd on a TripleJ compilation album yet it is identified as an ABBA track and listed under that name.  I don't even have any ABBA.  These are just examples.  Half of the library is messed up.  I have checked the tag info and everything appears in order.  What is going on?

I think the problem is in the "album artist" tag, show a column for it and check if there are differences.
