encoder plug-in?

Can I install a mp3 encoder plug-in without going to the internet?

Well....

Yes and no. If you go online and get it, you can then save it and install it again later if necessary from the place you saved it. In other words: make a  back-up copy somewhere that it can be retrieved from your machine.

yea but i think you also need to edit the "MJP" file to point to the ziped encoder or other plug-in for it to work.

i never bothered to figure it out but JimH talked abut it walking someone thru it before

Yup MachineHead is right, backup the Enc_mp3.dll and the lame.exe, then go to Plugin manager and load the plugin into MJ. But don't know if in this way records the settings in registry, sometime ago when the MP3 Plugin don't wanted to install in MJ because of some registry changes i figured out how to do it but it's necessary to go to regedit
