Paste cover art from clipboard not working in release 211

Attempting to paste cover art to an audio file from the clipboard results in a "No image found on clipboard" error. I have tried it by copying a jpg file, and by copying an image from an image editor. Neither works.

MC 18 release 211
OS X 10.8.4
