Audio Analysis on videos with multiple audio tracks
« on: August 09, 2013, 12:08:10 pm »

I'm confused about this.

Is it currently possible to analyse 'other' audio tracks than the one Audio Analysis Tool picks by default?

If so, please explain to me how because I can't seem to figure it out?

Thanks!

The track that would be used for playback and/or conversion is the only one analyzed.

If you change the track while playing, that track becomes the new "active track" used with these operations.

Thanks.

From what I see there is one set of tags for audio analysis, so when it ran for track 1 and I switch to track 2, is MC using the values made for track 1 on track 2?

So when I rerun the analysis after picking audio track 2, it overwrites the values for track 1?

If this is true, are there any plans to fix this in the future?

If it's possible, it would be better if all audio tracks in a video file are analyzed seperately, not only the "active track".

So it is like this. When I switch the audio track it will use the values it calculated from the previous track.

And when I rerun the analysis on the newly selected track, the values for the previous track are gone.

Are there any plans to change this behavior? I have a lot of movies with audio tracks in dutch and english. My son listens to dutch, adults tend to choose english.

Thanks.

I forgot, how can I see which track is "active"? Can I add a field to show this for instance?
