It is simply a list of Albums, sorted by Date Imported. Your choices:
- modify the view to include only what you want
- remove the view
What is it that you are ultimately trying to accomplish?

You could create a view or smartlist that shows only albums that don't yet have a value in some tag, such as New Album, or with some keyword. You'd add the value or include the keyword when you no longer want the albums to appear.

Sure thing.
Alternatively, you could have the view only show albums from, say, the past N days.

Customize the view, and click Set rules for file display.
Select Date Imported and set "is in the last", and set a number, and time period.
