Lynx Hilo owners | Can't play 44kHz...
« on: October 07, 2013, 09:25:04 am »

I've got the Hilo set up and pretty much figured out how MC does DoP, and also the PCM2DSD. DSD works fine at DSD64 with dff files.

Weird thing is all the sudden it won't play anything below 88kHz. This is with DoP etc. off.

I gather that you can set DoP in the zone settings, and it ignores this if not DSD. If you wanted PCM2DSD you would do that in the main DSP window.

I'm baffled why 44kHz doesn't play but I need to look closer at the Lynx settings; this is my neighbor's unit.

I haven't tested 48kHz, but 44kHz just freaks MC out; it does not throw the standard "MC can't play this format but this will work"...it just doesn't play implying the Lynx driver is to blame.
