MC for Mac - 2ch audio and HT video

I know nothing about this as I'm a 2 ch guy but I'm trying to tell my friend about it as he does 2 ch and video.  A one software solution would certainly make sense.  Where can I point him? 

I know he has a Mac Mini & AURALiC Vega with a bunch of video stuff.   :)
